Real questions, and the tools your agent calls to answer them.
acronym_acrostic_generatormethod_of_loci_guiderhyme_mnemonic_referencerecommend_mnemonic_techniqueMnemonicbuilder is a fully local mnemonic-device generator. acronym_acrostic_generator extracts each supplied item's first letter and either finds a matching real English word (a true acronym) or generates a memorable acrostic sentence, one word per letter, from a curated word bank — genuinely processing the caller's specific item list and order. method_of_loci_guide explains the memory-palace technique with a full worked example, and tailors it to your own item list by assigning each item to a stop along a sample route in order. rhyme_mnemonic_reference is a hand-curated reference of well-known rhyme/rhythm mnemonics (spelling, math, calendar, science, geography). recommend_mnemonic_technique suggests acronym/acrostic vs. method of loci based on the ~7-item working-memory chunk limit. Keyless; zero upstream calls; nothing submitted is stored.

Real words-per-minute, benchmark comparison, readability scoring, and comprehension questions from your own text
Turn your own term/definition pairs into a spaced-repetition flashcard set and self-quiz
A real backward-planned, difficulty-weighted, spaced study schedule from your exam date and topics
A scholarship-search strategy guide, application-capacity calculator, and scam checklist — not a scholarship database
A backward-planned college-application timeline, Common App checklist, and grade-by-grade prep guidance
Turning a list of things you need to memorize into a genuine memory aid — an acronym or acrostic built from your actual items, a tailored memory-palace route, or a well-known rhyme — using established memorization techniques rather than generic study tips.
acronym_acrostic_generator takes your list of items, extracts each one's first letter in order, and checks
whether those initials spell a real, common English word (a true acronym, like "HOMES" for the Great Lakes). If
they don't spell anything real, it generates a memorable acrostic sentence instead — one word per letter, drawn
from a curated word bank, so the sentence's own first letters cue your items in order. This genuinely processes
the specific items you give it: change the order of your list and you'll get different initials and a different
result, not a fixed template.
method_of_loci_guide explains the memory-palace technique — pick a route you know well, assign it 5-10
distinct stops, picture one vivid, exaggerated image per item at each stop, then mentally walk the route
forward and backward — with a full worked example (a grocery list mapped onto a five-stop house route). Pass
your own item list and it tailors the guide further, assigning each item to a stop along a default sample route
in order (looping back around with a note if your list is longer than the route).
rhyme_mnemonic_reference is a hand-curated reference of well-known rhyme and rhythm mnemonics by category —
spelling ("i before e"), math ("Please Excuse My Dear Aunt Sally" for order of operations), calendar ("Thirty
days hath September"), science ("My Very Educated Mother..." for the planets, Roy G. Biv for the color
spectrum), and geography ("HOMES" for the Great Lakes).
recommend_mnemonic_technique looks at how many items you have and recommends whether a single acronym/
acrostic or a method-of-loci route fits better, based on the well-established ~7-item working-memory chunk
limit — more items than that, and a spatial route reliably outperforms trying to hold one long acronym.
Not a guarantee of recall — mnemonic devices are a genuine aid, but understanding the material still matters most. The acronym/acrostic generator checks against a curated word list and per-letter word bank, not an exhaustive dictionary, so an obscure real word may occasionally be missed in favor of a generated sentence (which still works fine as a mnemonic). Not a substitute for actually studying content you don't yet understand — a mnemonic helps you recall a list, not comprehend why it matters.

What Mnemonicbuilder is. Mnemonicbuilder is a connector (an MCP server and REST API) that AI assistants and personal agents call on your behalf for a fully local mnemonic-device generator: an acronym/acrostic generator, a method-of-loci guide, a rhyme mnemonic reference, and a technique recommender. You interact with your assistant; the assistant sends us only the arguments needed for that one tool call — typically just the list of items you're trying to memorize.
What we receive. The arguments of each tool call (a list of item names/terms, and optionally a category name — no personal or identifying information is required by any tool), the technical headers needed to serve the request (an IP address or a client identifier supplied by the assistant, and a Pro API key if you have one), and standard server logs.
We do not store, log, or retain the items you submit. Every tool computes its answer from the arguments you send, in memory, for that one request, and returns a result — nothing is written to a database, written to a request log, cached, or used to train anything. Request bodies are not logged.
What we do not receive or store. We do not receive your conversation with the assistant or your name, and we do not build a profile from your queries: each request is answered independently and nothing carries over between requests. Rate-limit counters (a client identifier and timestamps, never the request content) are held in memory for at most 24 hours. Hosting-provider access logs, which contain IP addresses and request paths but not request bodies, are retained for up to 30 days for security and abuse prevention.
Sub-processors. None — there is no upstream call at all; every tool computes its answer locally or reads from a reference table bundled with the server. Hosting: Vercel (United States regions).
Legal bases and your rights. Our processing is necessary to provide the service you request through your assistant. Because we store no personal data beyond short-lived, content-free logs, requests to access, correct or delete personal data are usually satisfied automatically; you can still contact agent@connectorbay.com and we will respond within 30 days. We do not sell or share personal information and do not use your data to train models.
Children. Mnemonicbuilder is a general-audience study tool operated by the person using the assistant — no account or profile is created.
