A real, playable number-guessing game — classic mode and a reverse mode where the engine guesses your number
Unify Dynamics LLC
Real questions, and the tools your agent calls to answer them.
new_gamemake_guessnew_gamerespond_to_guessget_hintrender_gamegame_rulesmake_guessNumber Guess runs two real game modes with actual working logic, not canned responses. new_game(mode, min_value, max_value) starts either 'you_guess' (the engine secretly picks a number and make_guess(state, guess) tells you higher/lower/correct, grading each guess against the optimal binary-search bisection of the range still possible) or 'engine_guesses' (you think of a number and respond_to_guess(state, feedback) feeds your higher/lower/correct answers into a real binary-search solver that finds it in the mathematically-optimal number of guesses, catching inconsistent feedback along the way). get_hint gives a hint that never reveals the secret. render_game renders the current state as readable text, and game_rules explains the optimal-strategy math. Fully stateless: every tool call passes the complete game state, which the calling assistant holds between turns. Keyless; fully local; zero upstream calls; nothing stored.
Sources: Original, hand-written game logic and optimal-play (binary search) math authored by Unify Dynamics LLC. No third-party data, word lists, or APIs. Fully local, zero upstream calls.
The publisher, Unify Dynamics LLC, states that tool inputs are processed in memory and not retained.
6 tools, grouped by job. Every one is read-only or compute-only.

A real, playable number-guessing game — not a rules reference. Classic mode: the engine picks a secret number and grades your guesses against optimal binary-search play. Reverse mode: you think of a number and the engine guesses it using real binary search.
new_game(mode, min_value, max_value) starts a round in one of two modes:
make_guess(state, guess) repeatedly;
each response says higher/lower/correct and grades that guess against the optimal binary-search bisection of
what's still possible, so you can tell how close to optimal play you were. get_hint(state) gives a hint
(parity, which part of the range, digit sum) that never reveals the exact number.respond_to_guess(state, feedback) with
"higher", "lower", or "correct" after each of the engine's guesses; the engine runs real binary search and
finds your number within the mathematically-optimal number of guesses. Inconsistent feedback (answers that
can't all be true at once) is detected and reported rather than silently mishandled.render_game(state) renders the current game as readable text. game_rules() explains both modes and the
optimal-strategy math without a live game.
Number Guess keeps no server-side session. Every tool call receives the full current game state as a plain
JSON object and returns the new state; the calling assistant holds and passes it between turns. In you_guess
mode, that means the returned state necessarily contains the actual secret number in plain form — there is no
other place for a fully stateless server to keep it between calls. The assistant using this connector is trusted
not to read that field back to the player before the round ends. This is a known, honestly-documented limitation
of any stateless guessing-game API, the same trade-off every stateless word-guessing game in this catalog makes —
not a bug, and not something a "hash the secret" trick actually fixes when the server has no memory at all
between calls.
Not a rules encyclopedia and not a random-number utility with no game logic — every response comes from a real, tested game engine, including genuine binary-search optimal-play grading. Fully local, zero upstream calls, nothing stored.

What Number Guess is. Number Guess is a connector (an MCP server and REST API) that AI assistants and personal agents call on your behalf to run a real, playable, fully local number-guessing game. You interact with your
assistant; the assistant sends us only the arguments needed for that one move — a game state object (which
mode, range, and history so far) and your guess or feedback.
What we receive. The game state and move arguments for each tool call, the technical headers needed to
serve the request (an IP address or a client identifier supplied by the assistant, and a Pro API key if you have
one), and standard server logs.
Everything is computed locally and nothing is stored server-side. There is no upstream call at all, live or
otherwise, and no game state or query is logged in request bodies, recorded, or used to train anything. The
entire game — including the secret number in "you_guess" mode — exists only inside the state object that
travels between you and your assistant; our server never retains a copy after answering the request.
What we do not receive or store. We do not receive your conversation with the assistant or your name, and each request is answered independently — nothing carries over between requests. Rate-limit counters (a client identifier and timestamps) are held in memory for at most 24 hours. Hosting-provider access logs, which contain IP addresses and request paths but not request bodies, are retained for up to 30 days for security and abuse prevention.
Sub-processors. None — the entire game engine is bundled with the server and runs locally. Hosting: Vercel (United States regions).
Legal bases and your rights. Our processing is necessary to provide the service you request through your assistant. Because we store no personal data beyond short-lived logs, requests to access, correct or delete personal data are usually satisfied automatically; you can still contact agent@connectorbay.com and we will respond within 30 days. We do not sell or share personal information and do not use your data to train models.
Children. Number Guess is a general-audience service operated by the adult using the assistant.
Changes. We will post changes here with a new effective date.

state; the calling assistant is responsible for holding and passing it faithfully.
In "you_guess" mode the state necessarily contains the secret number in plain form, since a stateless server
