Bedtime & wake calculators: time sleep to whole ~90-minute cycles so you wake between cycles, not mid-cycle. Sleep cycle info: what N1/N2/N3/REM are and how they repeat through the night. Sleep debt tracker: turn a week of logged sleep into an accumulated-debt figure with a gradual recovery plan. Nap guide: power/recovery/full-cycle nap lengths and the range that tends to leave you groggy. Chronotype quiz: three questions sort you into Lion/Bear/Wolf/Dolphin, each with its own tips. Jet lag planner: adjustment-day estimate and a day-by-day light/schedule strategy based on time zones crossed and direction. Caffeine calculator: how much caffeine is still active at bedtime using a ~5.5h half-life, plus a reference table of common drinks. Sleep hygiene tips: evidence-based tips by category. Sound guide: white/pink/brown noise and nature sounds compared. Keyless; nothing stored; wellness information, not medical advice.

bedtime_calculator — Bedtime options timed to whole 90-minute sleep cycles before a target wake time, so you wake between cycles rather than mid-cycle. Use for "what time should I go to bed if I wake at 6:30am". Args: wake_time, min_cycles, max_cycles.
wake_time_calculator — Wake-up options timed to whole 90-minute sleep cycles after a planned bedtime. Use for "when should I wake up if I go to bed at 11pm". Args: bedtime, min_cycles, max_cycles.
sleep_cycle_info — Reference on the four sleep stages (N1, N2, N3, REM) and how ~90-minute cycles repeat through the night. Use for "what happens during deep sleep".
sleep_debt_tracker — Accumulated sleep debt against a target, with a gradual recovery plan. Use for "how much sleep debt do I have from this week". Args: nightly_hours, target_hours.
nap_guide — Nap length types (power/recovery/full-cycle) and the timing/length rules that avoid a groggy wake-up. Use for "how long should my nap be". Args: goal.
chronotype_quiz — Find whether you're a Lion/Bear/Wolf/Dolphin chronotype: call with no arguments for the quiz questions, call again with answers for your result, or pass chronotype to look one up directly. Use for "am I a night owl or early bird". Args: answers, chronotype.
jet_lag_planner — An adjustment-day estimate and a day-by-day light/schedule strategy for jet lag. Use for "how do I adjust for jet lag flying to Tokyo". Args: timezones_crossed, direction.
caffeine_calculator — How much caffeine is likely still active at bedtime (using a ~5.5h half-life), or a reference table of common drinks' caffeine content if no amount is given. Use for "will my 3pm coffee affect an 11pm bedtime". Args: mg_consumed, hours_before_bed.
sleep_hygiene_tips — Evidence-based sleep hygiene tips, optionally filtered by category. Use for "sleep hygiene tips for a hot bedroom". Args: category.
sound_guide — Background sound types (white/pink/brown noise, nature sounds, fan hum) and what each is best for. Use for "what's the difference between white noise and pink noise". Args: sound.

What Restwell is. Restwell is a connector (an MCP server and REST API) that AI assistants and personal agents call on your behalf for sleep-science calculators and reference: bedtime/wake-time cycle math, sleep stage reference, sleep-debt tracking, nap guidance, a chronotype quiz, a jet-lag planner, a caffeine cutoff calculator, sleep-hygiene tips and a background-sound guide. You interact with your assistant; the assistant sends us only the values needed for that one calculation.
What we receive. The arguments of each tool call — a wake or bedtime, a list of nightly sleep hours you choose to enter, a nap goal, quiz answers, a jet-lag itinerary (time zones crossed and direction, never a location), a caffeine amount and timing, or a tips/sound category — the technical headers needed to serve the request (an IP address or a client identifier supplied by the assistant, and a Pro API key if you have one), and standard server logs.
Everything is computed on our server and nothing is stored. All reference data (sleep stages, nap types, chronotypes, jet-lag guidance, caffeine content table, hygiene tips, sound types) is hand-curated and bundled with the server; no request is forwarded to any third party, and no query — including any sleep hours or sleep-debt figures you enter — is logged in request bodies, recorded, or used to train anything.
What we do not receive or store. We do not receive your conversation with the assistant, your name, contacts, or account credentials, and we do not build a sleep or health profile from your queries: each call is answered independently and nothing carries over between requests. Rate-limit counters (a client identifier and timestamps) are held in memory for at most 24 hours. Hosting-provider access logs, which contain IP addresses and request paths but not request bodies, are retained for up to 30 days for security and abuse prevention.
Sub-processors. None — every tool is computed locally. Hosting: Vercel (United States regions).
Legal bases and your rights. For users in California, the EU/UK and elsewhere, our processing is necessary to provide the service you request through your assistant. Because we store no personal data beyond short-lived logs, requests to access, correct or delete personal data are usually satisfied automatically; you can still contact agent@connectorbay.com and we will respond within 30 days. We do not sell or share personal information and do not use your data to train models.
Children. Restwell is a general-audience service operated by the adult using the assistant.
Changes. We will post changes here with a new effective date.
