Real questions, and the tools your agent calls to answer them.
new_gamenew_gamemove_tableau_to_tableaudeal_from_stockget_valid_moveshintrenderSpider Solitaire is a real, stateless, playable single-player card game. new_game deals a genuine 104-card double-deck hand (suits_mode 1, 2, or 4; optional seed). move_tableau_to_tableau (or make_move) validates and applies a move: the tableau builds down in rank regardless of suit for a single card, but a group can only move together as a unit if it is itself a same-suit, consecutive-descending run. deal_from_stock deals one card to every column at once, legal only when no column is empty. A complete King-to-Ace same-suit run clears to the foundation automatically; the game is won once all 8 are cleared. get_valid_moves lists every legal move, and hint returns a real suggested move or a genuine deadlock report. Keyless; fully local; zero upstream calls; nothing stored.

A real, playable single-player card game your assistant can run right inside the conversation — not a rules explainer. Deals a genuine 104-card double-deck hand and enforces the real rules of every move, including Spider's defining same-suit-run rule.
new_game(suits_mode, seed) shuffles a real 104-card deck (always 104 cards, regardless of mode —
suits_mode 1 uses only Spades, 2 uses Spades and Hearts, 4 uses all four suits) and deals
standard Spider: 10 tableau columns (4 sized 6, 6 sized 5), only the top card of each face up, the
remaining 50 to the stock. move_tableau_to_tableau (or make_move) validates and applies a move:
the tableau builds down in rank regardless of suit for a single card, but a GROUP of cards can only
move together if that group is itself a same-suit, consecutive-descending run — Spider's defining
rule. deal_from_stock deals one card to every column at once, legal only when no column is empty.
A complete, face-up King-to-Ace run of one suit is cleared to the foundation automatically the
moment a move completes it; the game is won once all 8 such sequences are cleared. get_valid_moves
lists every legal move, and hint returns a real suggested move (preferring one that completes a
sequence, then one that reveals a face-down card) or a genuine deadlock report.
There is no server-side session. Every tool takes the full game state (a JSON object) and returns
the new one — your assistant carries that object forward between calls. Cards are compact strings
like "TH" (Ten of Hearts). Spider is single-player, so there is no secrecy concern: the full
state is visible to the assistant the whole time.
Spider is a generic, public-domain card game name — this is an original implementation of its well-known rules, not affiliated with any card game product or brand.

What Spider Solitaire is. Spider Solitaire is a connector (an MCP server and REST API) that AI assistants and personal agents call on your behalf to run a real, single-player card game — dealing, move validation, and win detection. You interact with your assistant; the assistant sends us only the arguments needed for one tool call at a time.
What we receive. The arguments of each tool call — a game state (the tableau, stock, and cleared sequences), a requested move, or a seed value — plus the technical headers needed to serve the request (an IP address or a client identifier supplied by the assistant, and a Pro API key if you have one) and standard server logs.
Everything is computed locally and nothing is stored. There is no upstream call at all, no database, and no per-user session — every tool call is a pure function of the state it's given. Game states are not logged, recorded, or used to train anything, and nothing carries over between requests. Rate-limit counters (a client identifier and timestamps) are held in memory for at most 24 hours. Hosting-provider access logs, which contain IP addresses and request paths but not request bodies, are retained for up to 30 days for security and abuse prevention.
Sub-processors. None — everything runs locally on our server. Hosting: Vercel (United States regions).
Legal bases and your rights. Our processing is necessary to provide the service you request through your assistant. Because we store no personal data beyond short-lived logs, requests to access, correct or delete personal data are usually satisfied automatically; you can still contact agent@connectorbay.com and we will respond within 30 days. We do not sell or share personal information.
Children. Spider Solitaire is a general-audience service operated by the person using the assistant.
Changes. We will post changes here with a new effective date.
