About

DeclutterKit is a fully local decluttering-methodology toolkit. methodology_list and methodology_detail explain four real, well-known methods accurately: the KonMari Method, the Four-Box Method, the 20/20 Rule, and Project 333, each with its origin, how it works, and what it's best for. room_plan_generator takes a room type and your available minutes and genuinely schedules a prioritized task sequence from that room's task catalog — sorted by priority and quick-win duration, greedily fit to your real time budget, so both the room and the time change the actual output. twenty_twenty_rule_check applies the 20/20 rule's real $20/20-minute threshold to an item you describe. quick_checklist gives a short, decision-fatigue-reducing set of yes/no questions for clothes, papers, sentimental items, books, and kitchen gadgets. Keyless; fully local; zero upstream calls; nothing you describe is stored.

Sources: Computed locally / hand-curated — well-known, accurately explained decluttering methodologies (KonMari, the Four-Box Method, the 20/20 Rule from The Minimalists, Project 333) plus an original room-task catalog and scheduling algorithm; fully local, zero upstream calls

What DeclutterKit is for

Decluttering advice is everywhere and mostly generic — "just get rid of what you don't need" isn't a plan. DeclutterKit explains the real, well-known methodologies accurately, then turns "I have a room and some time" into an actual sequence of tasks that fits the minutes you actually have.

What it does

DeclutterKit is a fully local, hand-curated decluttering-methodology toolkit. methodology_list and methodology_detail explain four real, well-known methods accurately: the KonMari Method (category order, "does it spark joy"), the Four-Box Method (Keep/Donate/Trash/Relocate), the 20/20 Rule (replaceable for under $20 in under 20 minutes), and Project 333 (33 items of clothing for 90 days). room_plan_generator takes a room type and your available minutes and genuinely schedules a prioritized task sequence from that room's task catalog — sorted by priority and quick-win duration, greedily fit to your actual time budget, so the room and the time both change the real output. twenty_twenty_rule_check applies the 20/20 rule's actual $20/20-minute threshold to an item you describe. quick_checklist gives a short, decision-fatigue-reducing set of yes/no questions for common categories — clothes, papers, sentimental items, books, kitchen gadgets. Keyless; fully local; zero upstream calls; nothing you describe is stored.

What it is not

Not personalized professional organizing advice, and not aware of what you actually own beyond what you describe in a tool call — room_plan_generator schedules from a general, hand-curated task catalog for that room type, not an inventory of your specific belongings. The methodologies are explained as their original creators describe them; DeclutterKit doesn't endorse one over another — different methods suit different people and situations, as each methodology's "best for" note explains. Fully local, zero upstream calls, nothing stored.

Privacy policy

DeclutterKit — Privacy Policy

Effective 28 September 2026. Unify Dynamics LLC ("we", "us"), Menlo Park, California.

What DeclutterKit is. DeclutterKit is a connector (an MCP server and REST API) that AI assistants and personal agents call on your behalf for decluttering-methodology reference and room-by-room planning — methodology explanations, a time-boxed room plan generator, a 20/20-rule check, and quick decision checklists. You interact with your assistant; the assistant sends us only the arguments needed for that one lookup or calculation.

What we receive. The arguments of each tool call — things like a room type, how many minutes you have available, an item's estimated replacement cost and time, or a checklist category — the technical headers needed to serve the request (an IP address or a client identifier supplied by the assistant, and a Pro API key if you have one), and standard server logs. We never receive a description, photo, or inventory of your actual belongings — DeclutterKit's tools don't ask for it.

Everything is answered from bundled reference data or computed on the fly, and nothing is stored. No request is forwarded to any third party — there is no upstream call at all — and no query is logged in request bodies, recorded, or used to train anything.

What we do not receive or store. We do not receive your conversation with the assistant or your name, and we do not build a profile from your queries: each request is answered independently and nothing carries over between requests. Rate-limit counters (a client identifier and timestamps) are held in memory for at most 24 hours. Hosting-provider access logs, which contain IP addresses and request paths but not request bodies, are retained for up to 30 days for security and abuse prevention.

Sub-processors. None — all reference data is bundled with the server and every calculation runs locally. Hosting: Vercel (United States regions).

Legal bases and your rights. Our processing is necessary to provide the service you request through your assistant. Because we store no personal data beyond short-lived logs, requests to access, correct or delete personal data are usually satisfied automatically; you can still contact agent@connectorbay.com and we will respond within 30 days. We do not sell or share personal information and do not use your data to train models.

Children. DeclutterKit is a general-audience service operated by the adult using the assistant.

Changes. We will post changes here with a new effective date.

Terms of service

DeclutterKit — Terms of Service

Effective 28 September 2026. These terms govern use of the DeclutterKit connector ("the Service") operated by Unify Dynamics LLC ("we", "us").

  1. The Service. DeclutterKit returns decluttering-methodology reference material and room-by-room planning — explanations of the KonMari Method, the Four-Box Method, the 20/20 Rule, and Project 333; a time-boxed room-plan generator; a 20/20-rule qualifier check; and quick decision checklists. It is accessed through an AI assistant or directly over MCP or HTTP.
  2. Reference and planning only. DeclutterKit is an independent reference, not a professional organizing service, and is not affiliated with or endorsed by the creators of any methodology it describes. room_plan_generator schedules from a general, hand-curated task catalog for a room TYPE — it has no knowledge of your actual belongings, home layout, or physical constraints.
  3. Methodologies described neutrally. Each methodology is explained as its original source describes it, with a note on what it tends to suit — DeclutterKit does not claim one method is universally correct.
  4. Acceptable use. Automated use within the published rate limits is welcome.
  5. Availability. The Service is provided "as is" without warranty. We may change, limit or discontinue it at any time.
  6. Data. Our Privacy Policy describes what we process. In short: your query is answered from bundled reference data or a local computation, and nothing is stored.
  7. Pro keys. Optional Pro API keys are issued at our discretion, are personal to the holder and may be revoked for abuse.
  8. Liability. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Unify Dynamics LLC is not liable for any loss arising from use of or reliance on the Service, including any decision to discard an item based on its output. Our total liability is limited to US $100.
  9. Governing law. California law; venue in San Mateo County, California.
