game_rules — Full detail for one dice game: category, player count, duration, equipment, setup, numbered step-by-step play, scoring notes, winning condition, and known variants. Use for "how do I play Farkle", "what are the rules of Ship Captain Crew". Args: name.
category_list — Every dice-game category covered (Push Your Luck, Category Scoring, Bluffing & Deduction, Casino-Style Social, Party & Pure Luck, Pub & Folk, Speed & Reflex) with how many games are in each. Use for "what kinds of dice games do you cover".
term_glossary — Definitions of common dice-game terms — bust, hot dice, push your luck, point, natural, snake eyes, boxcars, cargo, wild, bid/raise, house rule, and more. Use for "what does hot dice mean", "what's a natural in Craps". Args: term.
scoring_summary — Computes a REAL score, not a lookup, when dice are given for a game with calculable scoring: every Yacht/Yahtzee-family category (or one named category) for 5 dice, a full Farkle roll's breakdown, a Cee-lo roll's outcome, a Bunco roll's points against a round target, a Ship-Captain-Crew cargo total, or a Pig turn's running total and bust status. Without dice, returns the game's textual scoring/winning rules instead (used for Liar's Dice and Roll & Pass, which have no numeric score). Use for "score this Yacht roll: 3 3 3 5 5", "what's the Farkle value of 1 1 1 5 2 6", "is 4 4 2 a good Cee-lo roll". Args: name, dice, category, target.
probability_note — Real combinatorial probability for a simple single-die or two-dice outcome — exact fraction, decimal, percent, and a short note tying it to the named game when relevant (e.g. a Pig bust chance, a Craps natural). Use for "odds of rolling a 7 with two dice", "chance of snake eyes", "how likely is a bust in Pig". Args: game, dice_count, outcome.
games_by_player_count — Every dice game in this reference that fits a given number of players. Use for "what dice games work for 5 people", "dice games for just two of us". Args: count.
find_game_for_group — Suggests dice games that fit a player count and, optionally, a rough duration, with games whose ideal player range matches listed first. Use for "what dice game works for 8 people in under 20 minutes", "quick dice game for 3 players". Args: player_count, duration.
beginner_tips — A curated shortlist of tips for learning a specific dice game. Use for "any tips for playing Farkle", "how do I get better at Pig". Args: name.
ok: true with data, or ok: false with a structured error (bad_input, not_found, upstream_error). degraded lists optional sources that were unreachable.Retry-After. initialize and tools/list are never counted.agent@connectorbay.com · connectorbay.com/diceroll/support

What Diceroll is. Diceroll is a connector (an MCP server and REST API) that AI assistants and personal agents call on your behalf for a hand-curated dice-game reference — rules, real scoring math, odds and beginner tips. You interact with your assistant; the assistant sends us only the arguments needed for that one lookup.
What we receive. The arguments of each tool call, the technical headers needed to serve the request (an IP address or a client identifier supplied by the assistant, and a Pro API key if you have one), and standard server logs.
Everything is answered from a bundled, hand-curated reference file and nothing is stored. No request is forwarded to any third party — there is no upstream call at all, live or otherwise — and no query is logged in request bodies, recorded, or used to train anything.
What we do not receive or store. We do not receive your conversation with the assistant or your name, and we do not build a profile from your queries: each request is answered independently and nothing carries over between requests. Rate-limit counters (a client identifier and timestamps) are held in memory for at most 24 hours. Hosting-provider access logs, which contain IP addresses and request paths but not request bodies, are retained for up to 30 days for security and abuse prevention.
Sub-processors. None — the entire dataset is bundled with the server and answered locally. Hosting: Vercel (United States regions).
Legal bases and your rights. Our processing is necessary to provide the service you request through your assistant. Because we store no personal data beyond short-lived logs, requests to access, correct or delete personal data are usually satisfied automatically; you can still contact agent@connectorbay.com and we will respond within 30 days. We do not sell or share personal information and do not use your data to train models.
Children. Diceroll is a general-audience service operated by the adult using the assistant.
Changes. We will post changes here with a new effective date.
