A prioritized home-security checklist by budget, plus a scored self-assessment — general guidance only
Unify Dynamics LLC
Real questions, and the tools your agent calls to answer them.
security_checklistsecurity_checklistsecurity_self_assessmentHomeSecurityKit is a fully local home-security planning toolkit — general educational guidance only, never a professional security assessment, an insurance or law-enforcement recommendation, or a guarantee against burglary. security_checklist takes a home type (apartment or house) and a budget tier (low, medium, or high) and returns a prioritized list of security improvements spanning locks, lighting, camera placement concepts, and alarm-system basics, ranked by a real computed impact-per-cost score so cheap high-impact items (reinforcing a door strike plate, motion-sensor lighting) always come before pricier, lower-impact ones (a full monitored alarm or camera system); higher budget tiers include everything from lower tiers plus additional options. security_self_assessment scores an 11-question true/false questionnaire against a fixed, documented 100-point rubric, returning a risk tier (needs attention / moderate / strong) and the highest-weight unmet items as prioritized recommendations — a partial answer set is still scored fairly. Every response carries a disclaimer field. Keyless; fully local; zero upstream calls; nothing stored.
Sources: Computed locally / hand-curated, using published general home-security best-practice guidance and a documented internal impact-per-cost and point-weighted scoring methodology; fully local, zero upstream calls

HomeSecurityKit is a home-security planning toolkit for general education. It is never a professional
security assessment, an insurance or law-enforcement recommendation, or a guarantee against burglary or
intrusion. Every home is different; consider a professional home-security assessment for anything beyond
these general suggestions, and always follow manufacturer instructions and local fire/electrical code for
anything you install. Every tool response carries a disclaimer field restating this.
The planning questions that come up before you spend money on security — what to fix first on a tight budget, what changes once the budget grows, and how your current setup stacks up — answered with a real, transparent prioritization method and a documented scoring rubric, with no upstream calls and nothing about the user stored.
security_checklist takes a home type (apartment or house) and a budget tier (low, medium, or high) and
returns a prioritized list of security improvements — door/window lock upgrades, lighting, camera placement
concepts, and alarm-system basics — ranked by a real computed impact-per-cost score, so cheap, high-impact
items (reinforcing a door strike plate, motion-sensor lighting) always come before pricier, lower-impact ones
(a full monitored alarm or camera system). A higher budget tier includes every lower-tier item plus additional
higher-cost options. security_self_assessment scores an 11-question questionnaire against a fixed 100-point
rubric — each question carries a weight, and you earn it only when your answer matches the protective
answer — and returns a risk tier plus the highest-weight unmet items as prioritized recommendations.
Not a security company, not an insurance underwriter, and not a substitute for a professional walk-through of your specific property. It does not know your neighborhood's crime patterns, your specific floor plan, or local permitting/HOA rules for cameras or exterior lighting. Both tools are general prioritization and scoring logic applied to hand-curated reference items, not a personalized risk assessment. For anything beyond general planning, or after any actual break-in or threat, contact local law enforcement and consider a professional home-security assessment.

What HomeSecurityKit is. HomeSecurityKit is a connector (an MCP server and REST API) that AI assistants and personal agents call on your behalf for a home-security checklist generator and self-assessment scorer. HomeSecurityKit is general educational guidance only and is never a professional security assessment. You interact with your assistant; the assistant sends us only the arguments needed for that one request.
What we receive. The arguments of each tool call — for example a home type, a budget tier, or your true/false answers to the self-assessment questions — the technical headers needed to serve the request (an IP address or a client identifier supplied by the assistant, and a Pro API key if you have one), and standard server logs.
Everything is answered locally and nothing is stored. HomeSecurityKit makes zero upstream/network calls: every response is drawn from bundled reference data or computed directly from the arguments given. No request is forwarded to any third party, and no query — including your self-assessment answers — is logged in request bodies, recorded, or used to train anything.
What we do not receive or store. We do not receive your conversation with the assistant or your name, and we do not build a profile from your queries: each request is answered independently and nothing carries over between requests. We do not know your address, your specific home's layout, or anything else about your home beyond the bare inputs of a single request — notably, your self-assessment answers describe your security setup in general terms and are never retained. Rate-limit counters (a client identifier and timestamps) are held in memory for at most 24 hours. Hosting-provider access logs, which contain IP addresses and request paths but not request bodies, are retained for up to 30 days for security and abuse prevention.
Sub-processors. None — the entire reference dataset and all scoring logic run locally with no external dependency. Hosting: Vercel (United States regions).
Legal bases and your rights. Our processing is necessary to provide the service you request through your assistant. Because we store no personal data beyond short-lived logs, requests to access, correct or delete personal data are usually satisfied automatically; you can still contact agent@connectorbay.com and we will respond within 30 days. We do not sell or share personal information and do not use your data to train models.
Children. HomeSecurityKit is a general-audience service operated by the adult using the assistant.
Changes. We will post changes here with a new effective date.
